Welcome to RHL

At RHL we deliver a variety of projects across the local community, working together with individuals, groups and companies with the aim of improving people’s health and wellbeing. Whether it is through our exercise and rehabilitation classes, our advice service ‘No Need for Debt’ or through health education we are always working to make a difference to people’s quality of life in the community.

Active Aldershot!
Free weekly family activities starting Sunday 10th May from 4pm-6pm at the Connaught Leisure Centre

Health Checks
Starting from May RHL will be offering free Health Checks in the Rushmoor area, contact us for more details.

Cardiac Rehabilitation
Starting from Monday 11th May we now offer an extra Cardiac Rehabilitation class.

Volunteer Networking
73 people attended our volunteer networking meeting on Monday 27th April

RHL has trained 30 cancer ambassadors through our Macmillan Cancer Awareness Project.

RHL saw 675 older adults take part in a group or social activity through our Age No Barrier project.

597 older adults were recognised by award for their achievements in the Age No Barrier project.

RHL has a growing database of over 70 volunteers that help identify and support the needs of the community.

In 2014 RHL worked with over 500 children in local areas of high deprivation and supported over 40 families to live a healthier lifestyle as part of our Fit4Life project.

From March 2014 - March 2015 RHL dealt with total debt of £1,073,942.00, obtained grants worth £105,455.00 and helped raise benefits worth £14,830.00.

Our exercise classes engaged with over 15,000 people this year with classes for all abilities, Specialist classes designed to aid recovery and long term rehabilitation, qualified instructors and all at affordable prices

303 people have been referred to us for DESMOND training and 54 have already been trained
